For one of the sweetest couples I've ever had the opportunity to work with, a sneak peek fusion video of their beautiful day. Asia and Dillon got married in Stewart Park with their friends and family surrounding them. We cruised down to the 400 Block to make art with the newlyweds and the bridal party, dodging the sprinkles from the splash pad. Then we headed to the reception at The Dane, where we enjoyed an amazing meal (Lasagne!), even more amazing dessert, and were treated to one of the most epic Grand Marches yet! Mr. and Mrs. Bay, I am so honored that Nick and I got to be a part of your day.

The ceremony was held at Peace Lutheran Church, in Sussex, where Andrew's father is the pastor, which made for an extra personal touch. It was beautiful! After they got hitched we headed to Boerner Botanical Gardens to make beautiful portraits of the bridal party and new husband/wife. What a gorgeous location! The reception was held at the Wauwatosa Woman's Clubwhich is a stunning building with so much character. To top it all off, Jocelyn and Andrew gave us a special first dance. They are both dancers so they couldn't get away with a regular slow dance. We were all treated to an amazing number and they danced the West Coast Swing. It was such a great day for me, thank you for choosing me!

Paula & Jacob had a beautiful wedding at The Marq by Festival in Howard this past weekend. The weather held out for pictures and the thunderstorm rolled in just as the dance party was getting started! We took the bridal party to L.H. Barkhausen Waterfowl Preserve and then made some portrait art on the water of just the newlyweds. I'm so glad I got to be part of this wedding, so much genuine emotion and loving family and friends. I wish you two nothing but the best!

My partner, Nick, and I drove all the way up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin to meet up with Andy and Aly for their engagement session at a meaningful location for them: Goodman Park.  What a beautiful setting!  The trails, the woods, the river, bridge, and rocks paired with such a wonderful couple... a photographer's dream!  Oh, and the turtle.  :)

Cat and Kurt held an intimate ceremony in the woods by the river at Honey Rock Camp in Three Lakes, Wisconsin.  It was an amazing setting to celebrate their new life together with all their closest friends and family.  There were dragonflies buzzing around and the sun was shining through the trees, truly magical!

Bridget and Dominic invited me to their home to photograph their engagement session and I'm so glad they did!  What a beautiful setting!  The very next day most of the snow had melted.  Bohdi, their beautiful black lab, tried to steal the show with his charm... I can't blame him though, look at that face!

Possibly the sweetest couple I've ever worked with!  Kevin and Jenna had an elegant church ceremony at Calvary Lutheran, followed by outdoor portraits at Brown County Park where we took full advantage of the October colors in the late afternoon light.  Then we headed to the reception at the Radisson in the Wolf ballroom.

First Day of School at the Lark House { Casi Lea Photography }

The first day of another school year and my munchkins won't stop growing!  Wyatt is starting 1st, Cole is going into 7th, and Alora is a Sophomore.  It was a beautiful foggy morning while we waited for(ever) for the bus to arrive.  Had to show off my goofy kids today, I'm so proud of them.
