I'm always looking for better ways to process my images, and the discovery of this technique has me pretty stoked.  Frequency separation allows you to separate the colors from the texture so you can go crazy with the clone stamp and spot healing tool without messing with the colors in your image. Okay, let's do this!

playing with new techniques { casi lea attempts the brenizer method }

Here is the most current result of my never ending quest to get better at what I do and offering the best of the best to my clients.

This image was created using what is known now as the "Brenizer Method" which is basically just panoramic stitching set to another purpose.  I wanted the amazing bokeh that I got when zoomed into just her upper body... but with the entire scene included.  Diggin' it!

I've been taking senior portraits since 2005 and love every minute of it. My job is to bring out the celebrity, the artist, the athlete, the genius, the fashionista, the skater, the singer inside of you, so you can share it with everyone else.

alora's chic country spring farm session { green bay photographer casi lea }

What goes together better than a white lace dress, cowgirl boots, old barns, horses, and pretty blonde girls?  After seeing how this photo shoot turned out, I can't think of anything!

My daughter, Alora, let me do a little photo shoot of her around our farm. What better way to celebrate the arrival of actual Spring and some new gear? I love the dreamy country chic vibe we came up with, and she's happy that her horse appears in a few images (and I'm happy that one of mine does too).

She's a teenager already (13), and it's killing me to look at these pictures and see what a lovely lady she is becoming. She helped me sort the pictures out and it seemed to put some pep in her step, definitely a boost to the ego to have gorgeous images right there on the screen for all to see. It's so important to help young girls feel good about themselves!

bayport senior portraits { green bay senior portrait artist casi lea photography }

It is already that time of year that juniors need to start planning their senior portrait art.  Your twelfth year of grade school is approaching rapidly and it's your time to shine! 

I want to get to know you. Really know you. And then get that on camera.   My style is capturing your style. Creating an experience with you that's uniquely yours. What makes you the person you are? What do you love? Why do you do what you do? How do you express it?

Each portrait session aims to answer these questions while making you look and feel absolutely fabulous. Many of the young adults I work with enjoy multiple outfit and location changes to represent the different facets of their life and interests. One moment you're the star of your soccer team, grass stained from head to toe but loving every bit of it, and the next you're off to a glamorous night out  in your favorite designer outfit. This is how you live your life. This is what your portrait session should ultimately reflect.

Now to showcase just exactly what I mean, here is Lisa G., she will be graduating from Bayport High this Spring.  She was one of my reps last year and had the luxury of shooting TWO sessions at her home, which she made the most of by changing up hair styles and outfits.  Lisa is a small town girl with big city style, and she has major love for animals.  Her horse, Chancellor tried to steal the spotlight with his rugged handsomeness, but Lisa's beauty on the inside and out are definitely for the win.  I hope these photographs have shown her exactly how beautiful she really is, just the way I see her.

horse & cowboy shoot in texas { and a special announcement }

Way back in 2005 I had the opportunity to go to Texas and photograph authentic cowboys and cowgirls riding their horses and just doing what they do, and it was the most amazing experience for me... I still can't get over it.
