jill & derek's classic green bay wedding { casi lea photography }

Their big day began at St. John the Baptist in Howard with a beautiful ceremony and continued on to the old bridge near Pamperin Park for couple photos, then Barkhausen to get some great shots with their bridal party as well as more of the two of them.  Everything about their wedding was classic, fun, and gorgeous!  Thank you for choosing me to be a part of your day.  <3 br="">

spring equestrian bridal editorial { green bay wedding photographer }

My friend, Shanna Koltz, and I put this shoot together in 2013 after months of talking and planning.  It was our dream to do a soft, pretty, dreamy, country chic wedding editorial with horses.  So really, this shoot was truly a dream come true.  Here are some of my images from this equestrian wedding styled editorial shoot.

autumn engagement session { wisconsin wedding photographer }

by Green Bay and Wausau wedding photographer Casi Lea Lark of Casi Lea Photography www.CasiLea-Photography.com

When I met with Molly and Adam earlier this year to talk about their wedding and plan their engagement session, we decided on October at the Eau Claire Dells to take advantage of the natural beauty at the height of the Fall season.

We had fun exploring the park and finding all the most beautiful nooks and crannies for their backdrops.  And what Fall engagement session would be complete without a leaf fight?  :)

picnic engagement session with dogs! { green bay wedding photographer }

by Green Bay wedding photographer Casi Lea Lark of www.CasiLea-Photography.com

I had so much fun photographing Nicci and Colin for their engagement session at Fonferek Glen.  She had sent me some ideas and she did an amazing job putting the picnic together, how romantic!  We included their dogs in the session because they're part of the family and deserve their own closeup, too.  :)

brooke's senior portraits { bay port high school photographer }

You know it was a great session when your sides hurt after it's finished!  We took Brooke all over the Pulaski area and got a beautiful variety of backdrops to compliment her outfits.  We had a ton of fun with Brooke and her Mom, and she's such a beautiful girl inside and out.  We had a great time with her pictures.

Best wishes for your future!

summer engagement in New York { albany wedding photographer }

by Green Bay Wedding Photographer Casi Lark of www.CasiLea-Photography.com

Last summer, while we were visiting my husbands family in Troy, I had the opportunity to photograph these two at Washington Park in Albany.  I love their vintage outfits and this location was so intriguing, especially for a small town girl like me.

If you need a New York wedding photographer, especially in the Albany area, hit me up!

natalee's senior rep portrait session { green bay graduation photographer }

By Green Bay Wisconsin senior portrait photographer Casi Lark of Casi Lea Photography www.CasiLea-Photography.com
Natalee's session was so much fun!  We walked around downtown Green Bay for some urban decay backgrounds for her en pointe set and three other outfits.  We headed out to Fon Ferek Glen after that to capture some more country chic styled images of Natalee as the sun was setting, as well as a fun set with her wearing a pink crinoline and her en pointe shoes.  Her Mom, Diane, even got in a few pictures.  Aren't they both stunning?  This was one of the biggest senior portrait shoots I've ever done with how many outfits and locations we used, and it was totally worth it!

Best of luck to you, Natalee... your future awaits!

what is a bridal portrait session? { green bay wedding photographer }

I get this question at my wedding consultations since this is something I offer with my wedding photography collections, but a lot of young brides aren't quite sure exactly what a bridal session entails.  It's not as commonplace as it once was since engagement sessions have become the top priority for pre-wedding imagery.

You certainly don't have to have a bridal session... but you know... they're just pretty and so much more relaxed than you will be on your big day when the tummy butterflies are just flapping away.  :)

These images are an example of a short bridal session we did in my studio, nothing complicated or stressful.  Just you, in your dress, looking and feeling beautiful.  Something to think about if you are really in love with your wedding gown or just need a self-esteem booster before your wedding day.

Internet world... meet my gorgeous friend Amanda.

what to expect - weddings by casi lea photography

YOUR LOVE STORY
Your wedding is a unique reflection of you. That’s why I love getting to know you personally — so I can tell your story beautifully. Sharing all your wedding dreams and details helps me create authentic, meaningful images that reflect the true you. Your unguarded moments. Your natural emotions. All the cherished images of your very special day.

My shooting style is quietly unobtrusive, and gently directive when needed. And my images naturally reveal the expressions of love and commitment that you both share. This is my passion. The heart of what I do. And I hope shines through in every image.

Your wedding day will be filled with extraordinary moments — intimate, surprising and joyous. Those fleeting moments, captured creatively, are the timeless visual heirlooms that will instantly bring you back to the essence of your wedding day.

BRINGING YOUR WEDDING MEMORIES TO LIFE
You have hundreds of wedding plans to make. Deciding who will bring your memories to life is one of your most important. When the flurry and excitement of your wedding day is over, it is beautifully captured images that help you revisit the romance, emotion and spirit of an event that passes so quickly.  So, how do you choose the best wedding photographer for you?

CHOOSE A PHOTOGRAPHER WHO VALUES YOUR DREAMS
I don’t think of you as just a shot list. Instead, I invest time getting to know you and your wedding dreams. That makes all the difference. You will be more comfortable in front of my lens, and your images will have the natural, more authentic feel of true keepsakes.

VIEW PORTFOLIO IMAGES FROM AN ENTIRE WEDDING
I will capture consistent, quality images throughout your wedding day. Details matter. And the subtle nuances of your day are important. I’m happy to share entire wedding galleries with you, so you can assure yourself that the quality you expect consistently shines through in every shot.

CHOOSE A SEASONED PROFESSIONAL
I’m experienced dealing with many different lighting environments and situations. I’m committed to professional and timely response to your needs before and after the ceremony. All hallmarks of a seasoned professional. And all assurances that every special moment of your wedding is flawlessly captured.

THE EASIEST PART OF YOUR WEDDING PLANS
Let’s get together — at your favorite coffee shop, on the phone, even SKYPE — I’m flexible. We’ll chat about your wedding day, confirm your date, and discuss all the fun details. I’ll show you examples of beautiful custom wedding albums and other items that can become your cherished wedding day heirlooms. Together, we’ll select the perfect package for your wedding.
Once we confirm the details, I’ll prepare your contract. After you return your signed contract and the retainer fee, I’m officially your wedding photographer!

SHOW YOUR LOVED ONES HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Show your loved ones how and where your love story began with your own engagement photo session.  Engagement sessions add so much to the story of who you are as a couple right now, and they’re an ideal way to become more comfortable in front of my lens before your wedding day.
Your engagement session can be as simple as a stroll through your favorite park, an intimate meal at your favorite café, or even a romantic return to where he proposed — anything you can imagine to share the imagery of your personal love story.
Formal or informal, images from your engagement session can be a beautiful addition to your wedding album, and also make a wonderful signing book. They help to craft the whole story, and can even be used for Save-the-Date cards, Invitations or Thank You cards.

A SMOOTH FLOW TO YOUR SPECIAL DAY
Memorable weddings don’t just happen. They take a bit of organization. To ensure a smooth flow of beautifully captured memories of your day, a timeline of wedding events will help guide your planning.

  • Getting Ready: The Bride & Groom — 1.5 to 2.0 hours
Plan to start earlier at the salon if you’re planning a “first look”.
  • The Wedding Ceremony — 15 minutes to 1.5 hours
The length of your ceremony may vary widely. Afterward, allow more time for formal portraits (if planned) to allow your guests to leave the church or venue.
  • Formal Group & Family Portraits — 30 minutes to 1.0 hour
Formal portrait timing can vary widely depending on group size and family/group combinations.
  • Wedding Party & The Newlywed Couple — 1.0 to 3.0 hours
Timing can depend largely on the venue, size of the bridal party and variety of poses.
  • Your Reception — 2.0 to 6.0 hours
Your first dance, cutting the cake, dancing guests, friends and family sharing your joy.

Remember. Your wedding day is unique, and planning together ensures you don’t miss a minute of this special time in your lives.
